Dewey Greyhounds Reach the Beach

We are all heading out on Thursday for the beach and the greyhound convention. We are looking forward to seeing all our friends, their hounds and other people. Our hounds can't wait to go. Will post pictures when we get back.

Our New Foster

Friday we are driving up to the kennel in NJ to pick up a foster. This isn't our first time fostering but we failed the first time around and Annie lived the rest of her life with us. This time we CAN NOT fail.
We will be bring home Etta. She just turned 10 last week and is a retired brood mom. She looks a lot like our Suzy only bigger. She's very playful. Guess no one told her she's a senior. Good thing since she'll have to keep up with Bear and Lincoln Here's a few pictures that are on th… Continue

Bear went to the vet today

We took Bear to see the vet today because he had a scab near the top of his cast on his foot. The vet re-wrapped it and took out the plastic cast. The vet said the scab should heal in a few days. The new wrap seems easier for Bear to walk. Here are some pictures.

Bear

Our puppy Bear has broken his left toe. It will be splinted and wrapped. The vet says, it'll take up to 3 weeks to heal. No running for awhile pup.
